Coldbrewed Creative?

Caffeinated Creativity: The Story Behind Coldbrewed Creative

I’ve always had a passion for creativity. It started long before I took a photography class back in high school, but that’s when I fell in love with taking photos. I never really thought to turn it into a career, but I did eventually find myself working as a videographer. Not the same, but it has been a career that has been an absolute joy and blessing. While photography seemed to go by the wayside, only popping up as a part time hobby from time to time, my passion for it never died out. In 2023, I decided to finally face my social anxiety and took myself to a photo meet-up. Ever since, that occasional part time hobby has become more of a passionate obsession.

When I decided to dive into photography, I knew it would be tough to balance work, life and, what I wanted to be, a full time hobby. For a brief time I contemplated making the move to full time photographer. However, after a lot of though, I realized I wanted to keep the experience focused on creativity and connection. Photography is my way of creating art, not bringing home a paycheck. As much as I would love to work for myself one day, I realized that I’m very blessed to have a career that pays my bills and allows me to be creative. That’s when it hit me.

Coldbrewed Creative is a concept that combines two things I love: photography and coffee. Not photos of coffee, but photos for coffee. Seems a little left field I’m sure, but let me explain. I want to offer high-quality, artistic photoshoots without the stress of traditional pricing, so I’ve decided to become a donation-based photographer, willing to work for as little as a cup of coffee. It’s a lighthearted approach that I hope wiil keep every session fun and flexible, and it lets me fuel my creative habit while sharing photography with people who value it.

Being a donation-based photographer allows me to keep my work accessible and to focus on the art and stories behind each shoot. With Coldbrewed Creative, I hope to connect with people who share my love for creativity, capturing moments that are real and timeless, and create some really cool art. Whether it's a quick portrait or a full session, every photo will be crafted with care—and maybe a little caffeine!
