The problem is that photography isn’t a gallon of milk. It’s actually more like buying coffee. There are different flavors, roasts, regions where it actually comes from, and they all come at a different price point. Is one better than the other? That’s for you to decide (okay, so milk actually varies as well, but c’mon … Coldbrewed Creative). Just because a particular coffee is super expensive doesn’t automatically mean it’s going to meet your personal preferences.

I’ve had an interest in photography ever since I can remember. To this day I can still remember the smell of those flash bulbs that used to come stacked in a rectangle. Once you fired those puppies off you’d have to replace it because you were literally blowing the bulb every time. Pretty wild, but it was the ‘1900s’ as my kids like to say. During a time when we still used to be able to say, ‘Dang, I wish I had my camera with me.’
